Are you ready to cast on a project that’s as relaxing to knit as it is stylish to wear? I’m so happy to share my free beginner knitting pattern, the Eyelet Triangular Shawl!
This beautiful, beginner friendly triangular shawl is perfect for anyone looking to dip their toes into the world of lace knitting, or simply enjoy an mindless project while watching TV.
Why You’ll Love the Eyelet Triangular Shawl:
- Super Beginner Friendly: If you can knit, purl, and yarn over, you’ve got this! The eyelet pattern is simple and repetitive, making it a joy to knit without constant chart checking.
- Beautiful Triangle Shape: The classic triangle silhouette makes it incredibly versatile and easy to wear.
- Made with Acrylic Yarn: This means it’s budget friendly, easy to care for, and comes in a variety of colors. Plus, it has a lovely drape.
- Wear it Two Ways: While it’s a fantastic shawl for cooler evenings or adding a touch of elegance to your outfit, the open eyelet design also makes it a perfect beach sarong!
I designed this shawl with simplicity and versatility in mind. It’s the kind of project you can pick up and put down easily, making it perfect for knitting on the go, during your favorite TV show, or while chatting with friends.
The eyelet stitches create a pretty texture and a light, airy fabric that’s perfect for year round wear. Whether you choose a vibrant solid, or a playful variegated yarn, your Eyelet Triangular Shawl is sure to be a showstopper.
